A nationwide search was launched to find contestants to face the GLADIATORS and 12 men and 12 women were eventually selected to take part in the series. Each heat features four superfit challengers - two men and two women - who compete against each other and the GLADIATORS. Recorded at Birmingham's mighty National Indoor Arena this tape features the first two heats from the 1992 GLADIATORS series PLUS exclusive footage not shown on T.V. and which can only be found on this video release.
